I begin envisioning summer dinner parties on the patio. Crisp linen napkins, classic china patterns… and I don’t even want to admit to my unending collection of beautiful stemware to grace the dinner table.  Candles are de riguer for adding romantic warmth, unscented of course to not interfere with the fragrant dishes about to be served. Hints of green fernery. Handwritten place cards to avoid the confusion of “where do I sit?” Silver platters overflowing with Oysters. Finally, the anticipation of a meal while fragrance wafts from the grill.

Surrounded by the laughter of family and friends, my heart is warmed.
