Florida Residence Entryway
This Florida Residence Entryway was designed and furnished with furniture and accessories from GailGray Home. To take advantage of the natural light and coastal atmosphere, the space uses neutral colors. The deep-toned hardwood floors act as a blank canvas that allows the other elements of the room to pop. The neutral tones include the furniture – specifically the identical armchairs and the sofa. These items are placed perfectly – next to the large windows letting in vast amounts of light. The space is also lit with different types of light fixtures such as mounted lights, standing lamps, and a chandelier.
To make the space more homey and personal, accessories and décor have been placed to add a comforting but mature aesthetic to the room. The grand piano acts as not only a discussion piece, but also a valuable display piece – becoming the focal point of the room. The art on the wall, the vases, and the rugs add another personal touch. The small bar area in the space off of the entryway is in a coppery color palette with a large analog wall clock and standing lamp in the same tone. The space is completed with a tray for wine glasses and a wine bottle holder.
