Center Valley Family Room
This Center Valley Family Room was designed by GailGray Home for a couple that recently moved to the area from Texas. They were looking for a cozy, comfortable family room to relax and catch up in at the end of the day. We have included both before and after images of the transformation of this space.
The walls were painted with Benjamin Moore Manchester Tan. This acts as a kind of blank canvas and a neutral tone so that the rest of the room can tie in with each other. Furnishings from GailGray Home create a homey feel, including a sofa and chairs by CR Laine, cabinetry by Hooker Furniture, a custom area rug, and custom curtains designed by GailGray Home.
The blush toned sofa and the whitish gray chairs from CR Laine work to make the colors of the stoned fireplace pop. The layout of the seats let people sit and interact with one another. One can also use the leather ottoman for a seat, foot rest, or a tabletop – perfect for decorations or tray tables. The cabinetry from Hooker Furniture provides that deep wood tone to match the fireplace and the frame of the picture hung above the cabinetry. These add a warmer aesthetic to the whole space.
The light toned area rug and curtains designed by our team add a balance and fill the empty spaces in the room. The space is completed with lamps, candlesticks, and other decorations and ornamentation that make this room even more homey.
